On Friday, September 25, 2020, the Independence Historical Trust and the Independence Visitor Center Corporation will host Independence Soiree, which is a virtual fundraising event. During the evening, we will be presenting the 2020 Year of the Woman Award to sports icon, Billie Jean King in recognition for her lifetime contributions to equal rights and equality for all.
